Community Relations Associate – Entry Level

We're hiring a Community Relations Associate to strengthen relationships between nonprofit organizations and the communities they serve.

In this role, you’ll help plan and manage community outreach campaigns, engage with local businesses, schools, and civic groups, and represent mission-driven nonprofit partners at events and meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and support public outreach programs, awareness campaigns, and community events

• Build relationships with local nonprofits, small businesses, schools, and civic organizations

• Represent nonprofit clients at community meetings, forums, and fundraising events

• Serve as a liaison between nonprofits and community stakeholders

• Gather community feedback and help refine outreach strategies

• Collaborate with internal teams on marketing, PR, and engagement campaigns

Qualifications

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, or relevant experience

• Strong public speaking and written communication skills

• Ability to build connections across diverse populations

• Highly organized and confident in managing multiple outreach projects

• Experience in community relations, public affairs, or nonprofit engagement is a plus

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Availability for occasional evening and weekend events
