About the Role:
As a Fundraising Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our Fundraising and Marketing & Communications teams, helping process donations, maintain our donor database, and ensure excellent customer care. You’ll work closely with management and the communications team, supporting a range of tasks and fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external fundraising inquiries
- Deliver high-level customer care, acknowledging and thanking donors promptly
- Collaborate with management and communications teams to prepare and send engaging donor communications
- Support fundraising and promotional events, including planning, logistics, and on-the-day execution
- Maintain and update the donor database, providing training and support to colleagues after receiving training
- Administer data entry, amendments, run reports, and create data queries as needed
- Help the fundraising team prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Stay informed on fundraising initiatives and trends across sectors
- Introduce new ideas and initiatives, taking ownership of your work
